Michelle Obama Finally Speaks the Truth

Posted by The Red Pill on March 4, 2008

Michelle Obama has finally spoken the truth about the state of America.

 (H/T: JammieWearingFool)

Obama begins with a broad assessment of life in America in 2008, and life is not good: we’re a divided country, we’re a country that is “just downright mean,” we are “guided by fear,” we’re a nation of cynics, sloths, and complacents.

You’ve got that right, Mrs. Obama!

we’re a nation of cynics

You mean the cynics who won’t accept the fact that we are actually winning the war in Iraq?

sloths

You mean like all of those poor folks who your husband wants us to buy medical insurance for?

and complacents.

You mean like those people who say we are not threatened by terrorists because we haven’t been attacked in over 6 years?

Yeah, you’ve hit the nail on the head, Michelle. America is indeed full of those people. They are the same people your husband panders to daily. They are the same people who I see wearing shirts and buttons with your husband’s face on them. And they are the same people who will be voting for him in November.

No wonder she’s so proud.

    1. We can’t be “complacents”. Complacent is an adjective, not a noun.

    (so, Michelle, your grammar sucks)

Unless she’s describing all those people in Trinity UCC who are bamboozled by the Reverend’s bombast.

Maybe we can tweak the language and describe those poor souls as complacents.
