The Red Pill

Welcome to the Real World

A new pharmacy for The Red Pill

Posted by The Red Pill on June 25, 2008

I am very proud to announce that I have been asked to be a co-blogger at Joe Tobacco’s Cadillac Tight, and I have graciously accepted the offer.

Joe has proposed the very interesting concept of forming a right-, left-, and center-oriented blogging team to offer readers a variety of opinions and viewpoints as we approach what could potentially be the most interesting presidential race in our nation’s history. It should prove to be fun for writers and readers, alike. I am certainly looking forward to it.

I will still maintain this blog with content not appropriate for Cadillac Tight, which would include pieces on History and BS I learn at university. But the large majority of my political writing will be done there.

Hope to see you all there!

Some people do cross-posting, and if you get good at it, it only takes a minute to copy your material over to other blogs.

On the other hand, perhaps you could still use the Alliance tag and maybe even the ping code over there. It’d be cool to have Joe’s site more involved in the club, especially because his ideologically diverse group blog proposal aligns neatly with the spirit of the WPPBA. Joe’s one of the first bloggers to use the button, and one of my favorites, but sometimes I lose track of what he’s got going on over there because his posts don’t show up on my Alliance RSS feed.

    Or, do both.

  4. What’s this? There’s more than the button?

Sheesh, Chen, you’ve gone all technical on me. Feeds and all that rot.

    Sigh :-)

Well, Red apparently knows how to hook into the feed and whatever else is required, and he’s got Admin permissions at my hovel now. We’ll let him put it together, Heh.

  5. I’ll set it up this weekend, Joe. It requires we set up a page that can be linked to, and then attatch some code that Chen has to the end of our posts. Simple stuff. It helps increase traffic and discussion.

  6. Traffic, meh. Discussion? Oh yeah…That’s what I’m talking about. Elevate the discussions, and the traffic will come : – )

Yea I’m with you Joe. 15K hits means little to me if no one is commenting.

The feed thing is pretty simple. Use “WordPress Political Blogs” as a tag, and it will show up here. If you employ the RSS feed for the tag on your site (like several of us do), it will give you (and your visitors) updates on recent posts by members of the Alliance. The ultimate idea was to form our own community by creatively utilizing some of the unique characteristics of our wordpress.com blogs.

Speaking of pharmacies, there’s a new doctor in town. His views are very similar to yours and his is free to use and share.
